Which accessories are available for the Maxivent AHUs?
For maximum flexibility, the air handling unit can be expanded with various accessories tailored to the specific requirements of the project. The heat recovery unit can be equipped with the following components:
- Electric preheater: Heats the incoming air to prevent freezing and ensure proper operation of the unit at low outdoor temperatures (3.75 kW – 28.0 kW).
- Hot water coil: Post-heating based on hot water from the heating system or heat pump, providing energy-efficient and precise temperature control of the supply air (11.60 kW – 73.60 kW).
- Chilled water coil: Post-cooling based on chilled water from a cooling system or heat pump, for energy-efficient and precise supply air temperature control (4.24 kW – 41.40 kW).
- Reversible DX coil: Provides direct cooling or heating of the supply air via a refrigerant circuit, enabling quick and efficient temperature reduction (7.34/7.90 kW – 40.43/40.92 kW).
- Automatic changeover water coil: Heats or cools the supply air via a water circuit and automatically switches between hot and cold water (12.00/4.24 kW – 114.00/41.40 kW).
- Roof: For outdoor installations, protecting the top of the unit against water and dirt.
- Hood: For outdoor installations, protecting the air intake of the unit against water and dirt.
- Louvre grilles: For outdoor installations, protecting the unit’s air intake against dust and weather influences.
- Silencer: Reduces the noise level in the duct (600 – 1000 mm).
- Motorised damper: For regulating the airflow of the unit.
- (Flexible) connectors: Ensure compatibility so that both circular and rectangular ducts can be connected. Their flexibility absorbs vibrations and reduces noise.
- Filters: G4 (Iso Coarse 55%) and M5 (ePM10 50%) filters for extract air. F9 (ePM1 85%) and F7 (ePM1 50%) filters for supply air.
Where are the accessories installed?
All accessories for the Maxivent by Econox units with side connections are mounted on the outside of the unit. The only exceptions are the electric preheater, the hot water coil, and the filters; these are installed inside the unit. For precise installation of the various accessories, we recommend consulting the corresponding installation manual.
